This Wednesday we held our first holiday party with our friends over at Booksworks! We had a nice mix of over 50 authors, publishers, editors, publicists, and startups from all over NYC.
We loved hearing about the new book to app tool that Bowker just released recently from Beat Barbarian. Plus, there were so many indie authors and it was awesome to hear all their awesome stories.

Darrel Sukhedo told us about how he used our NY Self Publishers Meetup to find an editor. We even heard a few BiblioCrunch success stories of authors who found really great resources to hire editors. We loved hearing about Karen Little’s new book about scooting.
Special shoutout to Betty Sargent of Bookworks and Victoria McNally for co-hosting such an awesome event. A big thanks to Tools of Change for donating moleskin notebooks and books!
